Induction Program 2025 - A Grand Welcome to Our New Students

Shri Swami Samarth Institute of Management and Technology, Malwadi, Bota. successfully organized a three-day Induction Program from 24th to 26th September 2025 to warmly welcome the newly admitted students. The program aimed to familiarize students with the college environment, academic culture, facilities, and the various opportunities available for their holistic growth and development.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Hon. Dr. Shivajirao Pokharkar (President) and Dr. Amit Pokharkar (Secretary) of the Sanstha, who inspired the students to strive for excellence, innovation, and leadership in all their endeavors. Principal, Prof. Dr. Keshav Arote, addressed the gathering with motivating words, encouraging students to uphold discipline, develop professional skills, and make the best use of the resources and opportunities provided by the institute for their academic and personal success.

Induction Program 2025 - Day 1 – Inauguration & Campus Visit (24 September 2025)
The first day commenced with a Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing the light of knowledge, followed by a warm Welcome Address by the Principal. The distinguished guests delivered inspiring speeches emphasizing the importance of knowledge, innovation, and social responsibility. Later, students participated in a Campus Visit, exploring various departments, laboratories, and workshops under the guidance of faculty members. The visit provided them with valuable insights into the academic infrastructure and learning environment of the institute.

Induction Program 2025 - Day 2 – Academic & Cultural Events (25 September 2025)
The second day of the program was a vibrant blend of learning, creativity, and culture. Students actively participated in Teachers’ and Engineers’ Day celebrations, poster presentations, and art competitions, showcasing their enthusiasm and talent. Engaging sessions on Indian art and culture, soft skills development, innovation, and entrepreneurship inspired students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop a well-rounded perspective toward learning.

Induction Program 2025 - Day 3 – Career Orientation & Fresher’s Party (26 September 2025)
The final day of the program focused on career readiness and celebration. Interactive sessions on computer proficiency, departmental orientation, and sports awareness contributed to the holistic development of students. Faculty Development Program (FDP)

Virtual Lab Event – Enhancing Teaching-Learning through Online Experimentation Date: 27th September 2025 Venue: Seminar Hall / Online Platform, Malwadi Bota Shri Swami Samarth Institute of Management & Technology organized a Virtual Lab Event to promote innovation in digital learning and remote experimentation. The session featured an insightful keynote by Prof. Mrs. Priti R. Khatri and team from PVG’s College of Engineering, Pune, followed by hands-on workshops and expert discussions on integrating virtual labs into academics. The event, coordinated by Prof. Vrushali Kawade under the guidance of Principal Dr. Keshav Arote, received enthusiastic participation from faculty and students, fostering a step toward technology-driven education. Objectives To provide remote access to lab experiments. To enhance practical learning without needing physical instruments. To support self-paced learning and experimentation. To bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Independence Day Celebration – 15th August 2025

Shri Swami Samarth Institute of Management and Technology, Malwadi, Bota The institute proudly celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event was graced by the presence of the institute’s President, Dr. Shivajirao Pokharkar, Principal Dr. Keshav Arote, esteemed faculty members, dedicated non-teaching staff, and a large gathering of enthusiastic students.
